Born in New York and raised in the South, I returned in the late 90's after studying Graphic Design at East Carolina University School of Art. I quickly found a job designing DVD and VHS covers for titles from Universal, Paramount and Columbia Pictures all the while with the intention to return to my first love that started it all, photography.
After I was commissioned to photograph Roberto Cavalli for the Italian magazine Panorama, I was off and running on my new chapter as a professional photographer. But first I needed to pay my dues and began assisting various fashion photographers in New York City. Once I had enough of assisting and with some skills under my belt I began shooting on my own.
After 20 years in NYC, in 2019 I returned South to be close to family. I am now based in Charlotte, NC.
